Greetings from Youngstown Christian Television, a broadcasting venture based in Youngstown Ohio. YCTV is a Christian broadcasting company that promotes solid Biblical teaching and entertainment. We feature full-length sermons at the top of the hour, as well as our own created programs, devotional teaching and other Christian content.
YCTV has it's own content with programs such as "Discovering HisStory", a Biblical look at all things science, history, and creation... and a live “Ask the Preacher” show that is currently shown on YCTV. We would like to offer YOU the opportunity to help YCTV send out a solid Gospel message to north-east Ohio and the world by being a part of our programming. If you or someone in your church has an idea for a good Christian program, please contact us to discuss… we welcome any good idea! We have a large virtual-set studio ready for such use.
How YCTV started:
YCTV is created and managed by Gregoryfilms Inc., and is run as a Christian Missionary broadcasting company. Having the desire to create a broadcasting network that has a solid message, without all of the fundraising techniques of traditional Christian television has long been a goal of the owners of Gregoryfilms. YCTV will not have telethons, or sell any products or prayers to viewers. Our day to day operations costs will be paid by our church partners, and our sponsors.
Gregoryfilms Inc. has been is business since 1998, and will be handling all production of programming for YCTV. The owner, Tom Gregory, has many years of broadcasting experience, including four years managing productions for a national TV network.
At the beginning of 2020, the first two "Ask the Preacher" episodes were produced for YCTV, with live studio audiences. Suddenly, the world was in "lock-down" due to the spreading coronavirus, and all plans for our much-anticipated television network came to a halt. In 2021 Gregoryfilms studio location moved to a much bigger facility that is well suited to produce the quality of programs we desire for YCTV.
At YCTV, we accept God's word as written in the Bible as our only authority in matters of faith and practice, and the Holy Scriptures of the Bible lead us to believe:
*The Scriptures of the Old & New Testament are verbally inspired by God and inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority.
*There is one God eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
*That Jesus Christ was with God in the beginning, and all things are created by and through him. Jesus was begotten by God in human form, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary.
*The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.
*Mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature.
*The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood.
*Jesus was resurrected from the grave, was witnessed by hundreds people before His ascension into heaven, and His present life is there as High Priest and Advocate for us.
In the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
*That all who confess and repent of their sins and receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
In the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost in hell, and the fellowship of the saved in heaven.
*In the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men, and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.
*The Christian church’s mission is to preach the Scriptures to all the world, all of its endeavors being guided by multiple leadership and supported by the wise stewardship of God’s people.
*The ordinances of the Church given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Lord’s Table (Communion).
